This haven of peace, dedicated to wellbeing and farniente, cultivates the taste of the secret. Behind the white stone façade, an atmosphere of perfect serenity is prevailing. The immaculate lobby continues in a romantic patio, a former cloister embellished by ranks of olive trees which opens up to a lush garden, a green oasis which allows the guest a glimpse at the belltower of the church through palm trees, fig trees and laurel trees. The masterpiece of Villa Clarisse is the outdoor pool heated at 26ºC proposing moments of intense relaxation. The future spa, whose opening is scheduled for the summer of 2019, promises great instants of happiness.

The five suites and four rooms of Villa Clarisse reveal an elegant and contemporary decoration signed by the renowned interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon: pure lines, effects of various materials, contrast of matt and brilliant as well as variations of white which reflect the surname of the island, Ré the white.

Welcome to Villa Clarisse, a place of peace and wellbeing where time seems to stand still …

Situated in outstanding gardens in the heart of Saint-Martin, an island village listed as a UNESCO heritage site,

the Domaine des Sens is located at a short distance from the port and its shops. The surprising tranquility adds an incredible dimension.

This private domain, consisting of 3 houses, the manor  and 2 guesthouses are situated on the site of an ancient archers ditch. The main house pays homage to its medieval history with its immense stone walls,
while offering an unrivalled charm and luminosity.
The goal here is to accentuate the soul of the place and create an architecturally harmonious ensemble
of genuine character.

This former shipowner mansion of the 17th century displays the typical architecture of the Island of Ré. Its owner, Olivia Le Calvez, had a real crush for this majestic building. She was able to refurbish it in close co-operation with the interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, by harmoniously combining the charm and authenticity of the Charente tradition with the comfort of a high luxury property. Each of the 20 rooms and suites of the hotel dedicates its name and its decoration to the leading historical figures of the region. Old stones, elaborate wainscoting, period furniture, precious fabrics immerse visitors in the décor of the history of the Island of Ré.

Animated by the heart and soul of this port city, carried by the soft rolling of the sailboats, the Hôtel de Toiras***** will offer you the extra portion of soul of a warm residence with discreet elegance.

The immensity of the Atlantic as a continuation of the beach seems endless, such is the feeling of the “MIRAGE”.

The heir to this expertise and reputation, today Sylvain Charlois drives the Charlois Group forward. A creative and innovative mind, he draws inspiration from the oaks themselves, to perpetuate and develop each business.

In 2016, the oak’s nobility encouraged the Charlois Group to join the world of luxury with the creation of La Chênaie, a brand of cosmetics made with a patented oak extract, a result of anti-ageing research.

The next developpment will be a unique Hotel & Spa in the middle of Merlin. Opening 2021.
